Our Services
Three Ways to Support Family Communication
From a single structured conversation to an extended multi-session plan, Kithwell's services are shaped around what families actually need.
Back to HomeHow We Approach Every Session
Every Kithwell service begins from the same foundation: we listen without favouring, we share knowledge without directing, and we adapt to the people in the room rather than asking them to fit a fixed template. Whether it is a single conversation or an extended series of meetings, the principles remain the same.
Equal Standing
All participants enter on equal footing. No voice is given more weight than another.
Information, Not Instruction
We share frameworks and tools, leaving all decisions entirely with the family.
Pace Set by the Family
We follow your tempo, not a schedule. Conversations develop naturally.
Service 01
Neutral Conversation Sessions
An impartial, non-binding session in which a trained facilitator helps family members hear one another and work towards their own shared understanding on everyday matters. This is a communication service rather than advice, centred on respect and fairness. A good fit for families seeking a calm, neutral space to talk.
What to Expect
- 90-minute facilitated session at Ekkamai or via video call
- Structured turns — everyone is heard without interruption
- Facilitator guides pace, not direction or outcome
- Strictly confidential; no written report to third parties
Process
Brief pre-session check-in to note any practical considerations
Facilitated conversation with structured speaking turns
Short closing summary of what was heard — by the family, not the facilitator
Service 02
Communication Skills Workshops
Practical educational workshops on general, non-advisory topics such as respectful listening, managing everyday disagreements and keeping shared family schedules and notes organised. Purely informational and skills-based, with no guidance that requires a licence. Suitable for parents, couples and wider family groups.
Topics Covered
- Respectful listening — what it means in practice
- Managing everyday disagreements without escalation
- Organising shared family notes and schedules
- Practical take-home frameworks for ongoing use
Process
Introductory overview and group orientation
Skills modules with discussion and practice exercises
Handout materials to take away and use at home
Service 03
Extended Mediation Support Plan
A steady, multi-session plan combining facilitated conversations, educational materials and help arranging personal family documents and timelines into a clear, orderly form. Offered as a calm series of meetings with optional community support. Strictly non-advisory and informational, with no claims about outcomes.

- Educational materials and communication frameworks
- Support with organising personal family documents and timelines
- Optional peer community support sessions
