Our Company

Built on the Idea That Every Family Deserves to Be Heard

Kithwell was founded in Bangkok to offer a steady, non-judgemental space where family members can talk, listen and find their own way forward.

How Kithwell Came to Be

Kithwell started with a simple observation: families often know what they want to say but find it hard to say it when everyone is in the same room. Small misunderstandings build, conversations stop before they start, and the space for honest exchange quietly closes. We wanted to open it back up.

We opened our Ekkamai Road office in Bangkok in 2019, drawing together facilitators with backgrounds in communication education, organisational mediation and cross-cultural dialogue. Bangkok's diverse, fast-moving family landscape — international households, multigenerational Thai families, couples navigating new life stages — shaped how we work and what we offer.

Our approach has always been the same: we are not there to tell families what to do. We are there to help them hear one another, with patience and without partiality. Every session is about the people in the room — their words, their pace, their choices.

Our Mission

To provide a calm, impartial space where families can communicate more openly — through facilitation and education that empowers, rather than directs.

How We Work

A set of steady principles shapes every session and every interaction we have with the families who come to us.

Strict Impartiality

Facilitators are selected and trained to maintain equal standing towards all parties. We do not advocate, advise or take positions on behalf of any family member.

Confidential by Default

Everything shared in a session is treated with care. We maintain clear privacy practices and do not share personal information except where required by law.

Education, Not Advice

All content we share — in workshops, written materials and sessions — is informational and skills-based. We do not offer guidance that requires a professional licence.

Ongoing Facilitator Development

Our team members participate in regular peer review and continuing professional development to maintain high standards of facilitation practice.

Cultural Awareness

Bangkok's families span many backgrounds and traditions. We shape each session around the specific cultural and personal context of the people present.

Clear Scope of Practice

We are transparent about what our services are and what they are not. If a family needs professional or specialist support beyond our scope, we say so plainly.

Communication Facilitation in Bangkok

Family life in Bangkok is shaped by a rich mix of traditions, generations and circumstances. Kithwell works within that reality rather than outside it. Our facilitators are experienced in working with Thai families, international households and mixed cultural groups — adapting the pace, language and structure of sessions to the people in the room.

Our Communication Skills Workshops draw on established frameworks for respectful listening, non-reactive dialogue and shared record-keeping. They are designed for ordinary people, not specialists — accessible to parents who want practical tools, couples who have reached a point of misunderstanding, or wider family groups preparing for a significant shared decision.

Kithwell's Extended Mediation Support Plan brings together a series of facilitated conversations, educational materials and document-organisation support into one steady, coherent process. It is designed for families who want more than a single session — a gradual, supported journey toward clearer mutual understanding at their own pace.
